Summer Opportunities

4 Jun by Coach Alicia Moore

Happy last day of school! Yay you! You did it!
I hope you all have an incredible summer, and you take advantage of opportunities to be with family and friends. The volleyball season will come up fast, and I want everyone to be prepared for an amazing season.

🏐 Our Summer Programs (Sign Up Now!)
High school skills camp runs June and July this summer, 16 total sessions. We already have a great crew signed up. Registration is still open. These is the foundational piece of our summer preparation. We will work on individual skills, team systems, and compete 6 on 6 every session. In addition, we also offer 2 positional specific training sessions. They are almost full, but there are still some spots in the DS/Libero training sessions.

πŸš€ Branching Out: Outside Camps
If you are looking for even more volleyball this summer, I highly encourage you to look into outside college or club camps. Branching out is a fantastic way to experience different coaching styles, meet new players, and get extra touches on the ball.
There is absolutely no pressure to do this, but if you have the time, budget, and desire to add a little extra to your summer schedule, it’s a great bonus for your game!

πŸ’ͺ Summer Strength & Conditioning
As a quick reminder from my previous emails, physical preparation is crucial for injury prevention and peak performance. Everyone needs to be actively working out and training with one of our two designated training programs over the break:
Champion's Club
OR
ETS with Coach Eric
If you haven't already locked in your spot or schedule with one of these two options, please do so. We need everyone showing up to tryouts strong, fast, and conditioned.

Summer Youth Camp Coaching Staff
Did I miss anyone? I am completing the work schedule for all those who expressed interest in coaching this summer. This is for athletes entering grades 11 and 12 next year. Connect with me if you completed the community ed application and I have not yet been in touch with you.

Enjoy your well-deserved first weekend of summer break! Rest up, stay safe, and let's get to work.
Best,
Coach Moore
